ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians in Austin, Texas.

- MFM onsite: Yes

- In-house Anesthesia: Yes

- 24/7 transport teams available for high risk cases <32 weeks

- Shift length: 24 hours

- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes, need high level of clinical competency in GYN

- Hospitalists required to Perform Circumcisions: No

- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes, when available

- First assist available to the Hospitalists: Yes, but not all the time

- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: High collaboration with birthing center

- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No

- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes, by OBGYN/ED Call

- REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years

- 25-50 GYN visits annually

- No record of discipline by any medical organization

- Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Will consider Licensure Candidates

- Clinical Interview not required
