ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians near Richmond, Virginia, less than 2hours away.

- MFM onsite: Yes 

- OB Hospitalist will have interaction with OBGYN Residents 

- In-house Anesthesia: Yes  

- Shift Length: 12hours and 24hours

- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: No 

- Hospitalists required to Perform Circumcisions: Yes 

- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No, usually provided by midwives, residents or group

- First assist available to the Hospitalists: Yes-FP Residents 

- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes  

- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: Yes 

- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OBGYN ED Call)

- REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years

- 25-50 GYN visits annually 

- No record of discipline by any medical organization

- Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Will consider Licensure Candidates
