ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians in Anchorage, Alaska.

- Residency Program and Type? No

- In-house Anesthesia? Yes

- 24 hour shifts

- Hospitalists to provide GYN coverage: No

- Hospitalists required to perform circumcisions: No

- Hospitalists needed for first assist: No-usually provided by midwives, residents or groups

- First assist available to Hospitalists: Yes-FP residents

- Hospitalists to backup midwives: Yes

- Hospitalists to backup family practice: Yes

- Backup available to hospitalists-Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)

REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years

- 25-50 GYN visits annually

- No record of discipline by any medical organization

- Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Clinical Interview Not required
