ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians in Montgomery, Alabama.

- MFM onsite: Telehealth

- In-house Anesthesia

- EMR: Cerner

- Shift Length: 24 hours (Start time= 8am cst)

- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: only for emergent cases 

- Hospitalists not required to Perform Circumcisions

- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No-usually provided by midwives, residents or group

- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (surgical techs)

- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: TBD (CNM’s are in local private practice)

- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No

- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN Ed Call)

- No record of discipline by any medical organization

- Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Will consider Licensure Candidates 

- Clinical Interview Not required
