Anesthesiology

VeloSource has a Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opportunity - Fond Du Lac, WI

• Cardiac anesthesiologist (General ANES as well) - required call
• About 2-3 cardiac cases per week (125-150 per year) - this includes thoracic cases as well
• About 1-2 TAVRs per week (40-50 per year)
• Cardiac includes open hearts (CABG, valves, etc.), thoracic (mostly robot-assisted), TAVRs, high-risk cath labs (left main stenting), mediastinoscopies, and other emergency-type cases (pericardial windows).
• Provider will do cardiac cases only on days where they are assigned as "cardiac". If no cardiac cases are scheduled on their "cardiac" day, will just do regular cases. Will also do regular cases on days when not scheduled as “cardiac”.
• No transplants or VADs.
• Basic TEE skills are required but there is a TEE probe that can do advanced measurements (TEE, full volume, etc.).
