VeloSource has a Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opportunity - Grand Rapids, MI

• Shifts available: Weekend 24 Hr. Call, Day Shift, Weeknight Call 
• Minimum years of Experience: 3
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Inpatient/Outpatient
• 9 ORs (3.5 on avg.) & 3 EP Labs
• Annual # Cases: 6544
• Hours of Operation: 0700-1700
• Wind down to one OR around 7-9PM
• Call Coverage after 5pm
• Weeknight Call: 1st Call: Typically, out by 9:00 PM. 2nd Call: Typically, out by 7:00 PM 
• Overnight Callbacks: ~30% 
• Weekend Call: Daytime Callbacks: ~80%, Nighttime Callback: ~30% 
• Day shift 6:45a-5p 
• Weeknight call 5p-7a 
• Weekend 24hr call Sat-Mon 7a-7a
• Level One Trauma Center
• Board Certified/ Board Eligible - Required
• Active License Required: NO, but must obtain a FULL MI license (IMLC will not be accepted after 3/28/2026)
• Certs Required: ACLS, must be TEE Certified + transplant experience
• SUPPORT STAFF: 2 RNS IN EACH OR
• Providers must be able to sit their own cardiac cases - many of them are complex
• Need 1 week a month commitment
