VeloSource has a Cardiology APP Opportunity - Greeneville, NC
- Coverage Need: Day – 0630-1900 / Night 1830-0700
- Coverage needed includes 84 hours every 2 weeks (12-hour shifts)
- Rotating days, nights, and weekends
- 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Seeking Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
- 2+ Years of ICU experience required
- Cardiovascular ICU experience preferred
- Established team with high quality 5 academic intensivists and 6 advanced practice providers
- BLS and ACLS are required
- Ability to perform procedures including:
o Arterial Lines
o Central venous Lines/Dialysis Catheter
o Chest Tube Insertion
o Thoracentesis
o Intra – Aortic Balloon Pump removal
o Transvenous pacer/Swan Ganz placement
o Bronchoscopy
o Pacing wire removal
o Chest tube removal
o Feeding tube placement
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses.
- Develop treatment plans and order diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in line with scope of practice – provider must have a DEA license.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care
