Cardiology - Electrophysiology

VeloSource has a Cardiology-Electrophysiology Opportunity - Bloomington, IL

• Board Status: Board certified or Board eligible
• Illinois state license required to apply
• IMLC not considered
• CSR required
• Schedule/Shift Times: 24 hour call 7a-7a
• 15 shifts/month
• This role includes a mix of clinic, ambulatory procedures, and inpatient call coverage.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including but not limited to:
• Insertion, revision, replacement, and removal of cardiac pacemakers or cardioverter/defibrillators
• Conversion of cardiac rhythm
• Measurement of cardiac rhythm (percutaneous approach)
• Cardiac ablation procedures
• Watchman device implantation
• Loop recorder implantation and removal
• Consult on patients admitted under hospitalist and ICU services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients.
