Surgery - Cardiothoracic

VeloSource has a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity - Hartford, CT

• Practice Setting: Hospital Based-all inpt-OR//ICU/Rounding of patients in ER and floors
• Schedule (Shifts and Hours): M-F 8AM-5PM 
• Call Schedule: nights and weekends- TBD- aprox 7-8 calls per month
• Call Ratio: 3 providers taking call 
• Average Number of Cases Per Day: 2 cases per day 
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level One
• Number of Operating Rooms: 3
• Adult and Geriatric
• Certification Requirement: BLS and ACLS
• Procedures Required: Descending Aortic Aneurysms, CABG, Off-Pump CABG, Arterial Revascularization -Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery, Redo Coronary Revascularization, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracic aortic aneurysms, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, CoreValve® System, Mitral Valve Repair.
• Board Certified- [REQUIRED]
• BLS and ACLS- [REQUIRED]
• Active CT license - [REQUIRED]
• Local provider (mileage reimbursement only)-[REQUIRED]
• Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) [REQUIRED]
