Surgery - Cardiothoracic

VeloSource has a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity - Quincy, IL

• Board Status: Board Certified; Board Eligible
• DEA Required
• Active IL State License Required, no IMLC
• Minimum # Years Experience: 5
• CSR License Required
• 1-2 weekends of coverage needed each month (Possible future coverage needs of 10-14 day stretch)
• Providers take call and any emergent cases that present, round on any patients we have, all call, no clinic, cover emergent cases only.
• Avg 3 calls per weekend unless change in condition of a pt. CVU tries to get all questions asked when rounding to avoid phone calls.
• Daily avg census: 7
• Schedule/Shift Times: Weekends Friday 10am to Monday 5am
• Typical Day: Referrals from Cardiology, Primarily managing CABG cases and/or performing CABG if needed, AM rounding and as needed for post-surgical patients if changes in condition.
• -Types of Calls: Telephone; 30min Response
• Average Admissions While On Call: 3
• Adult Percentage: 100.00%
