VeloSource has an Emergency Medicine APP Opportunity - York, PA

• Acute Care Hospital
• Credential Accepted: NP; PA
• Board Status: Board Certified
• Active PA State License Required
• Minimum # Years Experience: 5
• DEA Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS
• CSR License Required
• Coverage Need: Sun-Sat for autonomous and independent, seeing patients of all acuity.
• Schedule/Shift options: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 11a-9p, 2p-12a, 6p-4a, 8p-6a
• Strongly prefer providers who are local.
• Providers Typical Day: Evaluation and treating patients in the ER. Providers will run codes alongside attendings.
• 6 APPs per shift
• About 100 patients per day
• AVG number of admits per day: 18-20
• 27-36 hrs of physician coverage per shift
• Adult Percentage: 85.00
• Peds Percentage: 15.00
• Procedures: All procedures related to ER (lacerations, I and D, reductions, intubations, chest tubes, central lines, LPs etc. (things such as intubations, chest tubes, central lines will be done with an attending)
