Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified
• MD State License Required to Apply
• Minimum # Years Experience: 3
• Will accept candidates with IMLC in hand
• Providers must be willing to perform their own fine needle aspirations of the thyroid
• DEA Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS

Coverage Need Details:

• Need to have training as a general Endocrinologist. This would include diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2, Thyroid disorders, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and goiter.
• Experience with thyroid disorder and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) would also be helpful.
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
• Schedule/Shift Times: 8am to 4pm
• No rounding. No inpatient call
• Travel Allowed: Mileage (Personal Vehicle); Airfare; Lodging
• Candidates Typical Day: Typical day includes seeing endocrinology patients in an outpatient practice setting. Physician will see 14-17 patient per day. Hours 8am - 5pm. Provide diagnosis and treatment to patients. Complete prescription refills. Complete all inbox messaging to patients. Work collaboratively with the staff to ensure the highest level of care to patients.
