Hematology

VeloSource has a Hematology Opportunity - Grand Rapids, MI

• Coverage Need: Weekend 24 Hour Call, Day Shift, Weeknight Cal (total shifts needed 14/ month)
• Minimum years of Experience: 3
• Looking for coverage for 4 days per week - flexible on the days per week. Ideally 3-4 months, but will be flexible.
• Hematologist needed, but would love a provider to see both Hemonc and Medonc patients
• Site needs 1 Hematologist, seeing just clinic patients, but will take call rotation to over see Hemonc and Medonc patients too
• Up to 11 patients per day in the clinic. (When helping with inpatient rounding, would only be seeing clinic patients in the afternoon, so around 5-6 patients per day)
• 30 minutes for established patients
• 60 minutes for new patients (average of 1-2 new patients/day)
• Call is every 5th week and is for night call and 24 hour on the weekends. Monday through Sunday
• Support Team: 1 RN per provider, along with MA's and Tech's to help room patients. Several APP's to help with call questions as well
• BC in Hematology required, experience in both Hematology and Medical Oncology is a plus
• Full MI license preferred
