Program Details

• 24-Hour Shifts (begins at 12:00 pm EST)
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
• Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions
• Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists – FP Residents
• Hospitalists to Backup Midwives
• Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists (OB/GYN ED Call)

Hospital Details

• NICU Level: III
• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly): 155
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 19
• Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 122
• MFM onsite
• Residency Program & Type – Family Medicine
• In-house Anesthesia

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Clinical Interview Not required
