ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an OB Hospitalist/Laborist Opportunity - Dyersburg, TN

Program Details

• 24 Hour Shifts
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
• Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists
• Hours: 9am –5pm
• Functions as a typical OB outpatient practice
• Overseeing 2 Nurse Practitioners
• Seeing 20-25 scheduled patients per day
• Has ultrasound technician and RNs in the office and they run their own schedules 

Hospital Details

• NICU Level: Level 1 Newborn Nursery
• Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 500
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 30-40
• MFM onsite during the day. On-call at night
• Anesthesia available on-call
• 3 pediatricians in the hospital

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Clinical Interview Not required
