ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an OB Hospitalist/Laborist Opportunity - Rocky Mount, NC

Program Details

• 24hr shifts for both Physicians and CNMs
• OB/GYNs to Provide GYN Coverage: Emergent
• Hospitalists First Assist Available: CNM
• Hospitalist back up: Ourselves/General Surgery/ER

Hospital Details

• Number of hospital beds: 282
• Annual Births 1,100 (~90-95 per month) o~30% are unassigned
• NICU Level: Level 2
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 90-95
• Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries): ~3,000 (250/month)
• MFM: Not onsite. Consults available on certain days
• In-house Anesthesia: 24/7 CRNAs

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Clinical Interview Not required
