Program Details

• OB/GYNs to Provide GYN Coverage: emergency only
• OB/GYNs Occasionally Needed for First Assist
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists
• Hospitalists to Backup Midwives
• Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists: OB/GYN ED

Hospital Details

• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 63
• Total Hospitalist Deliveries (monthly avg): 6
• Encounters with High Risk Diagnoses: 55.7%
• NICU: Level II - Specialty
• MFM: available through tele-consult
• Residency Program: Family Medicine
• Neonatal Coverage: Peds onsite 24/7; NICU consults available via telehealth

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Clinical Interview Not required
