VeloSource has an ObGyn Opportunity - Los Angeles, CA

• Teaching hospital, supervision is mandatory.
• Clinic hours: 4 days per week 7:30-5:30
• 12 hour Call & 24 hour Call
• Coverage Type: Clinic + 1/9 nights and weekends
• Call Type: In-house L&D call up to 24 hrs with post call day off
• Call Frequency: 9 clinicians in rotation (clinic & call model)
• Estimated Shifts per Month: 3-4 overnight

• Trauma Level: Level III
• OB/NICU Unit Level: Level III NICU
• L&D Beds: 11
• Triage Beds: 8
• NICU Bed Capacity: 28
• Deliveries per Year: Approx. 2,900–3,300
• Deliveries per Month: ~240–280
• Average Deliveries per Day: ~8–9
• GYN Surgeries per Day: 3-4, one full OR day/month plus add one
• Circumcisions Required: low volume
• Support Staff: L&D RNs, nICU on-call, Anesthesia on-call, full time MFM on-call
• Full time supervision of residents - help run 20 person OB-GYN residency program and additional FM residents

• Board Certification Required (OB/GYN)
• Required Certifications: DEA, California Medical License 
• Malpractice History Policy: Site WILL review and possibly approve pending or settled cases
• Model Type: Clinic + Call (not Hospitalist or Laborist)
