VeloSource has a Trauma Surgery Opportuntiy - Hartford, CT

• Schedule: M-F 7a-4p, 3 weeknights per week 4p-7a, Sat/Sun 7a-7a call
• Average Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day: 5
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1 Trauma
• Annual ER Volume: 80,000
• Percentage of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital: 35%
• Total Number of Beds:  617
• Patient Age Demographic: Primarily Adult/Geri but occasionally child/adolescent
•  Procedures Required: Trauma Cases ADULT, Trauma Cases GERIATRIC, PENETRATING Trauma Cases, BLUNT Trauma Cases, Chest Tube Insertion
• Laparoscopic Procedures Required: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy
• Board Certified- REQUIRED (must be boarded in Surgical Critical Care)
• Fellowship Training- REQUIRED
• Active CT State License- REQUIRED 
• ACLS- REQUIRED
• DEA - Required
• Local Candidates- Preferred
