Gastroenterology

VeloSource has a Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Lakewood, CO.

• Coverage Need: 24 HR call (7a-7a) - Mon-Sun
• Average callback hours: 8-11 hours
• 5-7 days per month, ongoing
• Setting: Inpatient
• Level 1 Trauma
• Required Procedures/Job duties: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems. 
• Patient population: Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
• Admissions, 8-10 new patients & follow ups. 5-8 scopes per day.
• 15 years old and 50 kilograms for a pediatric trauma. Otherwise, Pediatric patients are not admitted to the facility.
• 24/7 intensivists & hospitalists at site.
• 24/7 Trauma Services at site.
• Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required
• Active CO License - Highly Preferred
• Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
• Candidates must be able to perform ERCP and EUS
• Gastroenterology Fellowship - Required
