Emergency Medicine

VeloSource has an Emergency Medicine Opportunity - Hot Springs, AR

• Shift type: Day shifts, Night Shifts and Evening Shift.
• Coverage time for shifts are as follows: 6a-3p, 8a-6p, 10a-10p, 2p-12a, 6p-4a, 10p-6a.
• Average hours per month is about 130.
• 1.8 patients per hour.
• Responsible for procedures: reductions, cardioversions, moderate sedation, lacerations, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, traumatic injuries, ekg interpretation, etc.  
• Our physicians work as a team in the department and routinely assist each other in complicated patients. 
• Support Staff: General Surgery, GI, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Peds, OB/GYN, nephrology, cardiology/cath lab, urology coverage. Trauma, ACLS, PALS trained nurses.
• License: AR [Required]
• Board Certifications: BC or truly BE in Emergency Medicine [Required]
• Other Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PLAS, DEA [Required]
• Malpractice: Clean [Required]
• Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - [REQUIRED]
