VeloSource has a Hematology/Oncology Opportunity - Hartford, CT

• Practice Setting: Inpatient Oncology Unit 
• Call Schedule: overnight telephonic call (rotating)
• Call Ratio: approx 1:8 
• Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
• What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Hem--60% Onc--40
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 7
• How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 dedicated for inpt coverage: 11 total---some round on the weekends 
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding) variable-----approx 5-20
• Clinical Area: Oncology - Inpatient Setting, Hematology - Inpatient Setting
• Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): level one
• Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse oncologist
• Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed
• Required Procedures:  Chemotherapy - Intrathecal
• Required Duties:  Participation on a Tumor Board, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes
• Board Certified/ Board Eligible - Required
• BC Oncologist - Preferred
• Active CT license - Required
