Hematology - Oncology

VeloSource has a Hematology/Oncology Opportunity - Hopkinsville, KY

• Coverage Need: full time, will accept candidates available for 2 weeks per month.
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Setting: Clinic
• Shifts Available: Day Shift, and Night Call
• Minimum Experience: 5 years
• Board Requirements: Board Certification in both Medical Oncology and Hematology preferred. Candidates certified in one specialty may be considered with adequate experience in both areas.
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Workload: 18-22 Patients per day
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Night Call: Minimal call-backs; onsite visits only for established patients
• Hospital Rounding: Occasional, typically under one hour
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies
• Dedicated RN support for in-room assistance, referrals, and administrative tasks
• Medical assistants available to streamline clinic operations
• Collaborative environment with Radiation Oncology; onsite, supportive leadership
• Opportunity to supervise and collaborate with APPs
• Patient Mix: ~65% Medical Oncology, ~35% Hematology
