Hematology - Oncology

VeloSource has a Hematology/Oncology Opportunity - St. Louis, MO

• Outpatient Clinic plus inpatient rounding
• Approx. 8-10 clinic patients per day and 5 patients to round on.
• Procedures: Chemotherapy Supervision/Orders, Bone Marrow biopsies/aspirations, Management of oncologic emergencies, genetic testing
• Case Types- Breast, Lung, Colorectal, Prostate, Pancreatic, Head/Neck, Melanoma (and other skin cancers), Sickle Cell, Coagulopathies, Benign Hematology
• Treatment Oversight: Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Targeted Therapy, Hormonal Therapy, Blood Transfusions, Growth Factor Support
• Can accommodate a full-time schedule.
• Inpatient weeks are typically scheduled for 12 hour days. Typically, faculty will have clinic in the morning, and round in the afternoon.
