Cardiology - Interventional

VeloSource has an Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity - Jasper, IN

• Coverage Need: mix of both IV Cardiology work, along with clinic and general. Unique set up, as it is a smaller hospital, but department is needing someone willing to do both.
• Shifts available: Day Shifts, Night Call, & 24-hr, Call (estimated 7-10 shifts per month)
• Minimum years of Experience: 2-3
• DEA Required
• Minimum of 2 years of case logs required
• Schedule: day shifts with 1-2 nights of weekday call and 1 weekend call a month. 
• Call Type: Pager
• STEMI Call Required
• Average number of STEMI activations per month: 6 
• Rounding: takes approximately 3-4 hours to round. There are registered nurse clinical coordinators to support during weekdays.
• ICU Responsibilities: Rounding and Consults. No dedicated cardiologist for ICU.
• How many inpatient consults: 125/month. Procedure volume is 186 per month for elective and non elective procedures. 
• Clinic, Inpatient, & Cath Lab required (providers have to be willing to do all)
• How many clinic days per week? Typically 2-3 days per week, then Inpatient 2-3 days
• # of cath labs: 2
• Annual Cath Volume:1559
• Annual PCI: 284
• PCI Capable 24/7
• Average clinic volume: 75-100
• Clinic hours: 8 hour shift, night call starts at 5p-7a
• Average hospital consult volume per day: 6

• Board level: Certified, won't accept board eligible
• Certifications: ACLS 
• Skills/Procedures: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cath, Cardioversion, TEE, Temp Pacemaker, Nuclear Stress Test
• Vascular Reads are a plus but not required**
