Radiology - Interventional

VeloSource has an Interventional Radiologist Opportunity - Rockford, IL

• Board Status: Board Certified
• DEA Required
• IL State License Required, no IMLC
• Minimum # Years Experience: 1
• Certifications Required: ACLS
• CSR License Required
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
• The Interventional Radiologist will perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures supporting both inpatient and outpatient services.
• The department manages a diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions.

Common Procedures May Include:

• CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow)
• Drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges)
• Biliary procedures
• GI and GU procedures
• Vascular procedures and access
• Hemodialysis access procedures
• Oncology-related interventional procedures

• Providers will work closely with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff to deliver comprehensive IR services.
• Consecutive shifts preferred
• Clinic 8-10 hours onsite followed by night call
• 24 hour call on weekends
