Urgent Care/Walk-In Clinic

VeloSource has an Urgent Care NP/PA Opportunity - Morgantown, WV

• Board Status: Board Certified
• DEA Required
• Boards Accepted: If ABEM 1yr of experience; If ABFM or ABIM 2yrs of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care
• State Licensure: Pennsylvania, no ILMC
• Minimum # Years Experience: 1
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; PALS
• Must have a min of 2yrs of experience in urgent care or 1yr of experience in emergency medicine
• Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages including peds 6m+
• Must be comfortable with orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care
• CSR License Required

• Schedule: Mon-Sun 8a-8p.
• Provider must be willing to work independently (no supervision)
• Providers will see patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints.
• Typical Urgent Care assignment, anything high acuity will get referred to the local ER.
• Medical assistants and rad techs onsite
• AVG patient volume: 3-4 patients per hour
• Sites will be staffed with 1-3 providers per day. If a physician is not on site, a physician will be remotely available for escalation
• Adult Percentage: 80.00%
• Peds Percentage: 20.00%
